Learn the steps to request the payment of the sum insured of the life insurance:

  Notification

We ask you to notify us of the claim as soon as possible:

Send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

  • Date of the claim
  • Place of the claim
  • Circumstances and details of the claim.

  Form and documentation

Send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

  • Duly completed claim form with the required data and signatures.

Please also send the documents mentioned in the form:

    • Certified copy of the death certificate duly apostilled.
    • Copy of the medical record of the last hospitalization.
    • Copy of the complete medical history of the family or primary care physician.

In case of Death by Violent Cause:

    • Send a certified copy of the traffic and/or police report.
    • Certified copy of the autopsy report.
    • Copy of Obituaries.
    • Copy of the insured’s identity card.
    • Copy of the identity card of the designated beneficiary(ies).

Please include any additional information you consider pertinent to document the death.

  Payment

We will make the payment to the account of the designated beneficiary(ies) indicated in the claim form. The life coverage can be paid into any national or international account, as long as it is in the name of the designated beneficiary(ies).

Once the evaluation process is completed, we will send the beneficiary an email with the claim approval letter and make the corresponding payment (we may request banking documentation depending on the recipient bank).

The documents can be sent digitally to start the evaluation process, although Olé may request the originals if required. Confirm that the scanned documents are clear, complete, and legible. Once the documentation is sent, the claims committee will contact the advisor or beneficiary via email to request any additional information necessary to evaluate it.

Olé reserves the right to request all additional documentation required to verify the information declared in the application, such as the insured’s income, workplace, occupation, last or previous medical diagnosis records, permits, or certifications from local authorities or private entities that certify the necessary documentary evidence, to validate the claim.
